FlashRouters

The Hiding Heros

Find yourself using incognito windows and losing sleep because you fear hackers and unsavory agents stealing your personally identifiable information? FlashRouters to the rescue! Protect your entire network with open-source firmware installed routers and a US-based support team. They started out selling hardware, but have evolved to providing support services by subscription. We built FlashRouters a site with easy plan enrollment, reliable recurring billing, and configurable bundled products so every order can come with a support plan.

The Challenge

To route customers through a checkout flow requiring the selection of a support subscription – only when specific products were added to the cart. FlashRouters’ new business model included service with every new router – however, they also sold virtual products, refurbished products, and new routers that did not come with the support plans. With ATF’s customization, FlashRouters was able to secure the additional recurring revenue without ongoing manual effort.

Project Highlights

Clean UI lets the content communicate clearly. Our fellow tech geeks rejoice with all the copy heavy PDP and CMS pages. To prevent text overload, the UX was structured with tabs and collapsed bullets – reducing load time and allowing for easier navigation of information. To the point, to the product, to the purchase. To infinity and beyond!

Subscription Plans

Subscription model virtual products each set to their own recurring billing schedule.

Referral Program

Bolstering sales from current customers by encouraging shared referral links through social media and email.

Reward Points

Gamifying actions on the site, like submitting a review, to get points that can be used like store credit.

Product Add-Ons

Impulse extras not easily forgotten, appearing on every product PDP as an add-on.

Integrations

For the M2 build, we narrowed down their extensive M1 list of integrations to the few that automated and streamlined their daily processes the most.
