This multifaceted enterprise began by protecting festival goers in the Black Rock Desert and has expanded to disaster response across the map. Recently ASSI launched the world’s only cryptocurrency to support international disaster rescue efforts, sheltercoin. But when their online commerce was a disaster in itself, they turned to ATF for some sweet digital relief.
The Challenge
Shelter System’s brand was skyrocketing, but site visitors were stuck in quicksand, experiencing 20+ second page loads – if they’d load at all. UX was broken, and admin functionality was patched together loosely. ATF began by conducting a thorough Site Audit, examining core code modifications, extension conflicts, UX issues, and more. Upon completion, the path forward was clear: redesign and rebuild the hobbled Magento 1 site anew on Magento 2.
